Son of Tucuman Government minister dies in car crash

The 19 year-old son of Tucuman’s Government Minister Edmundo Jiménez died early this morning in a car crash in the locality of Yerba Buena.

Joaquín Jiménez was driving a Mini Cooper down Perón avenue when he lost control of the car and crashed against a column. He was immediately taken to a local hospital, where he died shortly after. Nineteen year old Emanuel Nicolas Bilkis, who was riding shotgun, suffered some bruises but is in stable condition.

Edmundo Jiménez had traveled to Buenos Aires to attend a wake.
