Diana remembered on 15th anniversary of her death
Tributes were being paid today across the world to Princess Diana, on the fifteenth anniversary of her death.
Diana, who died in that fatal car crash in Paris fifteen years ago, would have been 51 years old today.
The entrance to Kensington Palace, now a historic site and home to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge when they are in London, was once again being lined with flowers and wreaths as mourners came to pay tribute to the former princess-turned icon.
According to the British press, the Duke of Cambridge is to travel to Singapore in the near future, where he will see for the first time the orchid that was named in Diana’s honour shortly after her death in 1997.
No official ceremony was being held today in England.
Many reports said the two sons of the former princess were keeping a low profile today, particularly since the recent scandalous pictures of Prince Harry caused chaos in British media.
