Gils Carbo's sworn in as Procurator General

Alejandra Gils Carbó was officially sworn in by President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner as Procurator General today.

The brief ceremony took place in the Bicentennary Argentine Women Hall in the Government House and was attended by members of the Cabinet, Supreme Court justices, among other public officials.

Carbó's bid was approved by the Upper and Lower Houses of Congress, a she  replaces former Procurator General Esteban Righi.
