Independiente ousted Boca from the South American cup after they draw 0-0. They tied 3-3 in the first leg in the Bombonera stadium, and Independiente advanced on the away goals rule. The match was played in Independiente’s stadium in the Greater Buenos Aires area of Avellaneda.
