Subway delegates head Roberto Pianelli warned that if Metrovías concessionary company does not comply with the agreement signed earlier this month “another conflict will be unavoidable."

Pianelli thus referred to the agreement by which Metrovías stated it would pay an additional bonus in August,-ranging between 1600 and 3200 pesos- in order to end the strike which halted the subway service for 10 days.

“If by the month’s end workers see that the agreement is not complied with, another conflict will be unavoidable,” Pianelli warned

The head of the breakaway AGTSyP subway urged the City Government "to ask the Roggio group, owner of Metrovías, to not commit the crazy act of not complying with the accord."

Pianelli ratified that  subway workers did not reach a wage deal, but that in the framework of the lengthy strike, workers were willing to postpone for a few months.
