Lower House's Kirchnerites call for special session over Ciccone
The Lower House of Congress called for a special session for next Wednesday to debate the bill to take over the currency printing South American Values Company, formerly known as Ciccone, preliminary approved by the Senate last night.
The Parlamentarian secretary confirmed the special session for Wednesday at 11:30 am, after a request sent by the head of the Victory Front bloc, Lawmaker Agustín Rossi, and other members of the party.
The government-sponsored bill also aims to declare mint a matter of national interest.
The debate will begin on Tuesday at the Lower House between the Constitutional Affairs, Budget and General Legislation Committees. The pro-government party has majority in these committees, and is willing to get the bill cleared for debate for Wednesday.
