Buenos Aires stocks edge up

Buenos Aires stocks were 0.8 percent higher today, with the Merval benchmark stock index reaching 2,440.35 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell 1.9 percent and stood at 1,020 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
