Buenos Aires stocks edge up

Buenos Aires stocks edged up today, with the Merval benchmark stock index gaining 0.6 percent to 2,430.37 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell 0.8 percent to 1,051 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
