Gov't rules out export duties hikes will be extended to other sectors

Economy Minister Hernán Lorenzino and Viceminister Axel Kicillof today ruled out that the Government was evaluating extending export duties hikes to other sectors such as soy exports.

During a press conference called to make announcements on the biodiesel fuel sector, Axel Kicillof talked about different decrees published earlier on the Official Gazette which established hikes on biodiesel export duties and stressed "this measure was much more convenient than raising soy export taxes or limiting exports."
