Toledo fails to qualify after positive debut

Braian Toledo was eliminated at the men's javelin throw qualifications after reaching the 76.87 mark and staying behind the 12 athletes that achieved the finals at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The young athlete from Marcos Paz, national and South American under-23 record of 79.87, reached the 76.87 metres in his first effort, disallowed in the second one and 79.30 in the third and last try.
