Moyano's basic food basket is '52% more expensive' than Indec's
Newspaper salesmen union leader Omar Plaini announced that the CGT’s own analysis of the products of the basic food basket are 52 percent more expensive than those analyzed by Indec national statistics bureau, although the clarified that the definite figures will be released later.
Following a meeting of the dissident CGT’s board of directors at the Azopardo headquarters, Plaini also confirmed that union health insurance heads were summoned to a meeting next week to debate the debt that the Government holds with those entities.
Shortly after 3 pm, the meeting began with Moyano and the board of directors elected in a July 12th rally at Ferro stadium.
Ambito Financiero newspaper revealed that Moyano will report a 28 percent annual inflation rate, among other preliminary figures. The rates he was expected to show were based on data collected by a committee of women who visited supermarkets and by information provided by a private consulting agency.
