Buenos Aires stocks edge up

Buenos Aires stocks edged higher today, with the Merval benchmark stock index moving up by 1.1 percent to 2,422.92 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk rose 0.1 percent to 1,051 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
