'Inflation is a very serious problem,' Caló

Metal workers union leader and anti-Moyano faction leader Antonio Caló assured today that “inflation is a very serious problem, especially for workers,” and added that “it must be fought against by everybody, not only by the Government.”

Following CGT leader Hugo Moyano’s announcement that he will release his own in inflation rate with figures provided by the breakaway umbrella union, Caló stressed the fact that the increase of prices is very serious. “All of us must fight against it, not only the Government.”

Ambito Financiero newspaper first revealed that Moyano sent 10 women who work at the CGT headquarters in Azopardostreet to visit supermarkets and register prices.

Caló also defended the creation of a new CGT, although he once again claimed for unity in the central labour confederation. “I’m a peronist who supports this project,” said, and claimed for a united CGT, at has always been. This division is temporary, but those on the other side do not want the same.”
