Men's single scull: Fernández fails to win Olympic diploma

Argentine rower Santiago "Pollo" Fernández ended up at the tenth place at the single scull at the London 2012 Olympic Games, after entering at the fourth place at the final B held at Eton Dorney lake.
The 35-year-old Argentine arrived 9.23 seconds after the winner of the series, Cuban Angel Fournier Rodríguez, whom alongside Lithuanian Mindaugas Griskonis won the Olympic diploma.
Fernández completed the 2,000 metres in seven minutes, twenty seconds.
