Rebecchi Carla (R) of Argentina is congratulated by teammates after scoring the second goal.

Argentina's national women's field hockey team, also known as "Las Leonas," defeated New Zealand by 2-1 in the third match of the Groups round at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Forward Carla Rebecchi scored both goals of the "albiceleste", the first one at 3' of the first part and the second one at 10' of the second part. Meanwhile, Charlotte Harrison scored New Zealand's only goal at 26' of the last part.

With this victory, Argentina recovered from the match in which the US won, and currently lead their group.
