Argentina suffer second defeat in men's hockey

Pakistan, who has won the gold medal in three opportunities, defeated Argentina's national men's hockey team 2-0 in the match for the London 2012 Olympic Games' Group A.

The goals were netted by Rehan Butt and Sohail Abbas, both after penalty corners, at the Riverbank Arena.

The "albiceleste" team had already been thrashed by Great Britain by 4-1 in their debut at the Games.

The group is headed by Australia, favourite to win the gold medal, that crushed Spain 5-0 and added six points.

Great Britain and Pakistan have four points, followed by Spain and South Africa with one, and Argentina remains at the last place with no points.
