Buenos Aires stocks end slightly down

Buenos Aires stocks moved slightly down in today's trade, with the Merval benchmark stock index edging down by 0.1 percent to 2,399.58 points.

It has experienced losses of 2.5 percent this year and gained a total of 2.3 percent in July.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell 0.7 percent, standing at 1,074 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
