CFK: 'violence in football has been blown out of proportion with clear political intentions'
President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.
At a ceremony at the Government House, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner referred to the problem of violence in football and assured that the matter “has been blown out of proportion with clear political intentions.”
“Suddenly criminals appeared. So I want to speak without any agenda,” she assured.
As she introduced the new fingerprint readers that will be installed at the entrance of every football stadium,” she stated that “usually, the most serious acts of violence take place outside” of them.
Most of the heads of the First Division clubs were present during the ceremony.
