Ginóbili, Scola face surprise dope test

Argentina’s basketball stars Emanuel Ginóbili and Luis Scola were surprised early this morning by Olympic Games organizers as they showed up to visit the NBA duo and conduct some blitz dope tests.

Scola and 'Manu' were visited around 7am at their rooms as they both commented on their Twitter accounts.

“7am: they keep knocking my door. Surprise dope test. I couldn’t understand a thing”, Scola wrote and added afterwards: “Alright, let’s do it for the good of having clean games. But next time let’s please try to make it at 10am guys, hehe!”

After checking his teammate’s message, Manu replied “Well, I’ll tell you later what happened to me right after you left.”

Ginobili and Scola were not the first Argentine athletes to undergo sudden dope test. Yesterday was the turn of Argentina’s handball team players and brothers Diego and Sebastián Simonet.
