Scioli signs decree to extend bingos' licenses, complete midyear bonus payment
Buenos Aires province Governor Daniel Scioli extended the licenses of 14 bingo operators by a decree, although he is opened to analyze the "proposals" that benefit the province's treasury, after the Kirchnerites claimed him to modify the gambling profitability.
Provincial pro-scioli lawmaker Guido Lorenzino assured that the governor has signed the decree that ratifies the 1078 resolution.
Lorenzino stated during an interview that Buenos Aires province had to face the first half of the year with 7.1 billion pesos for the payment of salaries and midyear bonuses for the public sector, meaning that the Nation's assistance is insufficient to cover the expenditures.
"ANSeS' loan of 600 million pesos obviously helps us, but is not enough, so we have to continue with the renovations of this licenses by this mechanism which is legal, is harmless and it's the same one Felipe Solá used in 2006," Lorenzino stated.
