Buenos Aires stocks edge down

Buenos Aires stocks edged down today, with the Merval benchmark stock index dropping 1.79 percent to 2,459.51 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk is down by 1.48 percent to 1,068 basis-points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
