Buenos Aires stocks higher

Buenos Aires stocks closed higher today, with the Merval benchmark stock index moving up by 3.9 percent to 2,496.67 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk edged up by 1.7 percent, standing at 1,084 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
