Moyano begins second term as CGT leader, says 'will create his own Indec'
CGT leader Hugo Moyano began his new term at the helm of the umbrella union organization, once again targeted the National Government in his criticism and warned that from now on, his sector would start “his own Indec” (in reference to the national statistics bureau) in order to measure inflation.
“We will have our own Indec,” he said as he entered the CGT headquarters in the City.
According to the unionist, inflation would be measured “the way it’s supposed to” and “not like Domesctic Trade Secretary Guillermo Moreno does it.”
With the CGT broken into two pieces now, Moyano assured: “We are the CGT.”
At the same time, he said the CGT congress in which he was reelected last week was “excellent” and “was better than expected.”
Moyano also expressed his support for Buenos Aires province governor Daniel Scioli and said that the Fernández de Kirchner administration “has cornered him for daring to say that he wants to run for president in 2015.”
