City students lift sit-in demonstrations
Students who carried out various sit-in demonstrations in five schools across Buenos Aires this week, demanding a cafeteria service and photocopiers for their schools, announced on Friday that the protests were officially lifted.
“Today we have lifted the measure in all five of the schools,” Nicolás Cernadas told the press, a student from the Centre for Students from Escuela Normal 1.
The protests were carried this week in Buenos Aires National School, Pellegrini and San Martín schools and the Bachelors School for the Arts (BOA) Nº1.
They also held a press conference where they confirmed the measure.
