City Gov’t urges residents not to take rubbish out
The City Government urged the population not to take the rubbish out since due to a union conflict at the CEAMSE landfill there will be no waste collection on Sunday night.
Government officials made the special request in order to avoid the piling of rubbish bags on the streets, which could potentially obstruct sewers in case of rain.
According to the Macri administration, CEAMSE workers are currently blocking rubbish trucks from entering the landfill to dispose of their loads.
“The City Government is urging residents not to take the rubbish out in order to avoid the piling up of bags on the streets,” a press statement read.
