Schoklender brothers released on bail
Former Mothers of Plaza de Mayo Foundation financial manager Sergio Schoklender
Pablo and Sergio Schoklender were released from the Ezeiza prison Friday night, where they had been detained since May 15th as they are accused of malfeasance and money laundering in the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo Foundation.
Former Mothers of Plaza de Mayo Foundation financial manager Sergio Schoklender was released from jail after posting a 40,000 peso bail that a court set him, his brother Pablo and accountant Alejandro Gotkin.
Previously, Federal Judge Norberto Oyarbide had set a 4 million peso bond for the Schocklender brothers and 2 million one for Gotkin.
Judge Oyarbide had previously denied a release request, because he considered the investigation could be hindered.
