Protesters lift Ezeiza roadblock, flights back to normal

Protesters were blocking off general access to Ezeiza international airport this afternoon.

The ATE state workers and CTA union members lifted the protest they were carrying out in front of Ezeiza International airport this afternoon, in which general traffic to the airport was being blocked off. Flights schedules are back to normal and there are no delays on the roads on the way to the airport.

The protest lasted around two hours, in which general traffic access to the airport was being cut off, but the union members had been allowing passengers due to travel, access.

Today, following the complaints and strikes by Air Traffic Control workers, flight schedules were said to be back to “normal” according to airport sources. Yesterday an agreement was reached between air traffic controllers and Interior Minister Florencio Randazzo , the National Administration for Civil Aviation (ANAC) said.
