CGT elections: Tomada blames Moyano supporters for lack of accord

Labour Minister Carlos Tomada blamed Hugo Moyano's supporters for the failure to reach an accord in the mediation hearing over the CGT elections and ratified that the decision over contesting the elections will be made by his ministry.

Tomada said during a press conference that there was a proposal of cancelling the CGT congress and desist from contesting to begin talks, but assured that representatives for Hugo Moyano warned that the Congress will not be suspended.

“The Ministry’s intervention has been worthwhile because it proved its usefulness and in any case we did not reach an agreement it was not because we lacked opportunities. From the moment on the Labour Ministry is in conditions to analyze the file and make a decision,” Tomada said, regarding the election contesting request. "

Hugo Moyano aims to be reelected as CGT leader, as his feud with the Government continues to deepen.
