Buenos Aires stocks edge up

Buenos Aires stocks closed slightly higher on Monday, with the Merval benchmark stock index moving up by 0.96 percent to 2,369.22 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell 2.8 percent, at 1,057 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
