Buenos Aires stocks edge up

Buenos Aires stocks edged up today, with the Merval benchmark stock index gaining 3.5 percent to 2,356.68 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk is down 4.3 percent to 1,072 basis-points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
