Journalist Juan Alberto Badía in critical condition
Popular television host Juan Alberto Badía.
Tv and radio presenter Juan Alberto Badía remained hospitalized in critical condition due to a pneumonia, which worsened his health. He was diagnosed with cancer in late 2010.
He was honoured at the 2012 Martin Fierro awards ceremony for his outstanding contribution to journalism both in tv and radio.
Badía, a hardcore Beatles fan, helped launch the career of popular television host Marcelo Tinelli in the 1980s.
