Moyano: 'This will not be the only strike followed by a demonstration'

Speaking before today’s rally at the Plaza de Mayo Square, in downtown Buenos Aires, the CGT's secretary-general Hugo Moyano said this will not be " the only strike followed by a demonstration" against the Government.

Local reporters caught up with the union leader as he approached the square to be the only speaker of the rally at the main stage, set up in front of the Mayo Pyramid.

Moyano replied to President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner’s comments yesterday when she criticized the strike and rally and defended the income tax, one of the unionists' demands.

He also responded to Fernández de Kirchner’s remarks who stated he didn’t seem a peronist.“I am more peronist than Perón himself,” he stressed.
