Spain: Argentine decision over YPF will affect investments
Soraya Saenz blasted Argentina for YPF''s seizure today.
The Spanish government blasted Argentina once again today for partially expropriating 51% stake of the previously Spanish run YPF oil company.
During a speech at the Menéndez Pelayo International University in northern Spain, Vice-president Soraya Sáenz de Santamaría questioned the Argentine government's decision suggesting it wasn’t beneficial to Argentines.
“It is a matter of concern that some countries take hasty decisions, with political motives in mind, without taking its citizens into consideration,” she pointed out.
And added: “Those decisions make investments to retreat and jobs to be cut.”
