'Strike will take place until Friday,' Pablo Moyano confirms

Teamsters’ union secretary Pablo Moyano confirmed that the strike will take place until Friday morning, as he addressed reporters while blocking a fuel refinery in La Matanza.

“The workers are very angry with the income tax,” Moyano said, and assured Interior Minister Florencio Randazzo and Buenos Aires province Gabriel Mariotto “do not know what is happening because they are in their offices all day.”

Shortly after he addressed reporters, Gendarmerie officers and truck drivers clashed as armed forces tried to fuel trucks to leave the refinery in order to reach localities affected by shortages in Buenos Aires province.
