Two killed in car accident in Avellaneda

Two men were killed in a car accident in the Greater Buenos Aires district of Avellaneda, police officials said.

The incident occurred at around 5.30 am when a Ford Eco Sport truck collided into a Chevrolet Agile at the intersection of Belgrano Avenue and Italia.

Police said that following the collision, one of the drivers lost control of the vehicle, and crashed into the front of a restaurant.   

Two lives were claimed as a result of the accident, and two passengers who were also involved in the accident, were taken to the nearby Fiorito Hospital to be treated.
