Nalbandian advances to quarter final at Queen's
Nalbandian hits a return against France''s Edouard Roger-Vasselin during their third round of the Aegon Championships tennis tournament at the Queen''s Club.
Cordoba native David Nalbandian beat French tennis player Edouard Roger-Vasselin today (4-6 7-5 6-3) in the men's singles match on the fifth day of the Aegon Championships tennis tournament at the Queen's Club in west London today.
The player that ranks 39 on ATP’s World rank and, with today’s victory, is advancing to the tournament’s quarter finals, ten days before the beginning of Wimbledon Championship.
Vasselin and Nalbandian were initially scheduled to face each other at the tennis court yesterday but the match was cancelled due to the rain at the British capital.
Today’s victory is the Nalbandian’s third triumph at the tournament.
