Taddei case: Eduardo Vázquez sentenced to 18 years in prison

Former Callejeros drummer Eduardo Vázquez was sentenced to 18 years in prison as he was found guilty of murdering wife Wanda Taddei by setting her on fire.

According to the jury, Vázquez was under temporary insanity when he attacked his wifeand thus the sentence was reduced to 18 years.

The incident took place in the early hours of February 10th, 2010. Following an argument between the couple, Taddei was set on fire by her musician husband and taken to the hospital, where she died eleven days later.

Vázquez is a former drummer of rock band Callejeros, which played a concert at Cromagnon right club on December 30th 2004 concert which ended in tragedy, as a fire broke out and 193 people, most of them youngsters died.
