Buenos Aires stocks move up

Buenos Aires stocks moved up in afternoon trade. The Merval benchmark stock index rose by 1.8 percent to 2,190.82 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell by 2.6 percent, standing at 1,082 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
