Kicillof calls City's new mortgage loan programme 'irresponsible'

Deputy Economy Minister Axel Kicillof strongly criticized City Hall’s recently launched mortgage financing programme, assuring that “if you provide people with a low interest rate but can’t create growth in the housing construction sector to go with it, you run the risk of creating a real estate bubble.”

Kicillof also suggested that the Macri administration did not take into consideration “the focus and results of the programme, as well as who it is directed to.”
