Buenos Aires stocks edge down

Buenos Aires stocks edged down today, with the Merval benchmark stock index dropping 0.9 percent to 2,179.53 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk fell by 0.09 percent to 1,166 basis-points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
