Police raid River stadium after hooligan's death
Police officers and inspectors led a raid at the River Plate’s Stadium after the death of an alleged hooligan during Sunday’s game between River and Boca Unidos de Corrientes.
The officers sent by the Prosecutor were looking for the security cameras recordings, and to check in situ the Sivori stand as it was indicated as where the alleged hooligan of River Plate, identified as Gonzalo Saucedo (21), was stabbed.
Nevertheless, the cameras of the stadium did not film what has happened. Due to this, the person in charge of this system at the club might be suspended.
Saucedo died this morning at the BA City Pirovano Hospital's operation room due to the injures suffered after being stabbed in the chest yesterday during the game between River and Boca Unidos de Corrientes.
According to first reports, Saucedo was involved in a fight between two factions of River Plate's hooligans inside the Monumental Stadium and while the game's first half was still being played.
River hooligans are constantly bad news since they have been conducting endless clashes as part of an internal war for power that started many years ago and has already taken several lives.
