Buenos Aires stocks edge up

Buenos Aires stocks edged up today, with the Merval benchmark stock index gaining 0.3 percent to 2,227.58 points.

Meanwhile, Argentina's country-risk rose 4.1 percent to 1,163 basis-points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
