Polar temperatures to continue until Sunday

Woolly hats and teacups in hand. The blast of cold weather hit porteños hard this week, predicted to continue until Sunday.

Frosty feelings were abound today, as residents of Buenos Aires City and the Greater BA area faced yet another day of cold temperatures, when thermometres hit temperatures below zero. In the Capital, the wind chill factor reached -1.7 degrees this morning.

According to the report given by the National Weather Forecasting Service (SMN), the lowest temperature for the day was recorded early this morning reaching lows of 1.1 Celsius.

The SMN informed for the next days temperatures are expected to remain low, improving on Sunday when temperatures of 15 degrees are expected during the day’s warmest hours.

Villa Reynolds, in San Luis province, had the lowest temperatures in the country, reaching -11.1 degrees.
