Buenos Aires stocks edge down

Buenos Aires stocks edged down today, with the Merval benchmark stock index moving down by 0.5 percent at 2,199.97 points.

Meanwhile, the country-risk fell by 3.8 percent to 1,165 basis points in the JP Morgan EMBI index.
