CFK 'remains decided to keep replacing imports with domestic goods'

President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner.

While attending a ceremony in Catamarca, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner said that “she remains decided to keep replacing imports” for domestic goods “despite criticism against her” and assured that “she will make any decisions necessary in order to maintain growth.”

“We remain decided to keep replacing imports despite the criticism coming from special interests and those who spent their lives importing goods. They should be informed and invest here,” she stated.

The President also referred to the current economic crisis affecting Europe, and she said that she will make “any decisions necessary in order to maintain growth and employment.”
