Dollar closes at AR$4.49; 'blue' ranges AR$5.60-5.85

The official dollar price traded today at AR$4.47/AR$4.49, remained stable compared to last Friday's closing price.

Meanwhile, there was a high expectation at the City downtown's exchange agencies for the black market's "blue dollar" after Victory Front's Senator Aníbal Fernández revealed during the weekend that agencies had been told to not trade it beyond AR$5.10, thus revealing that it's the very same official agencies who set the parallel price and not illegal agencies which are also known as "caves."

So far, there's no fixed rate for the "blue dollar" today as it trades at "caves" between AR$5.60 and AR$5.85 pesos.

Likewisde, the euro moved slightly up to AR$5.65.
