Domestic flight tickets to rise 31%
Domestic flights will cost 31 percent more as of tomorrow, according to a Transport Secretary resolution published today in the Official Gazzette.
Tickets bought with more than 10 days in advance will be 10 percent more expensive, unlike those bought with less than 10 days in advance, which will be between 20 and 30 percent more expensive.
"It's necessary to assure the air public transportation authorized companies offer," the Transport Secretary said to justify the increase, which is the second one ordered by the government so far this year.
