Argentina triumph over Ecuador, win match 4-0

Argentina’s national team triumphed in the match against Ecuador tonight, one of the qualifier matches ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup to be held in Brazil.

Argentina won the match by 4-0, after goals by Agüero, Higuaín, Messi and Di María.

The first goal was scored by Manchester City forward, after a combined effort by Messi and Di María.

The match started at 7.30 pm this evening and was taking place at Monumental Stadium in the city neighbourhood of Nuñez.

Line-ups:

Argentina: Sergio Romero; Pablo Zabaleta, Federico Fernández, Ezequiel Garay and Clemente Rodríguez, Fernando Gago, Javier Mascherano and Angel Di María, Lionel Messi, Higuaín and Sergio Agüero. Coach: Alejandro Sabella.

Ecuador: Alexander Domínguez, Gabriel Achiller, Jorgue Guagua, Jairo Campos and Walter Ayoví, Antonio Valencia, Pedro Quiñonez, Cristian Noboa, Fernando Saritama and Cristian Suárez; Cristian Benítez. Coach: Luis Rueda.
