Vice-President Amado Boudou arrives in Bolivia
Vice-President Amado Boudou arrived in Bolivia on Saturday, where on Sunday he is to participate in the bicentenary celebrations commemorating the ‘Heroines of the Crown,’ women who fought against the Spanish colonialists on San Sebastián hill in Cochabamba.
“I bring with me grand greetings on behalf of Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, the president of Argentina, to the all of the Bolivian people,” Boudou stated on his arrival to the neighbouring country.
While speaking to the press, the vice-president highlighted the “trust between Bolivia and Argentina,” and said “the number of Bolivians that live in our country make us feel warmth, affection and a very special love toward this country.”
In addition, Boudou thanked his Bolivian counterpart Álvaro García Linera, for his welcome, and stated that “almost certainly” tomorrow he will meet with Bolivia’s president, Evo Morales.
