CFK: 'We've given patriotism back to Argentines'
After participating in the Tedeum religious ceremony, President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner was giving a live televised speech in the city of San Carlos de Bariloche in the mark of the May Revolution celebrations, where she spoke of how the Kirchnerite government has “given patriotism back to Argentines.”
During her speech, Fernández de Kirchner also mentioned her husband, and former president, Néstor Kirchner, making emphasis on how she "wished he were here" with her.
This year's celebrations mark 202 years since the May Revolution.
The Head of State arrived to Bariloche airport around 11 am this morning, where she was welcomed by Río Negro Province Governor Alberto Weretilneck.
As soon as she arrived, Fernández de Kirchner jumped straight into local festivites, beginning by attending a religious ceremony led by head bishop in Bariloche, Fernando Maletti.
